Healthy and fitness breakfast: compote bowl cake

List of necessary ingredients

  • 40 g of fine oat flakes;
  • 100 g of unsweetened applesauce;
  • 1 whole egg (preferably organic);
  • 1 g of baking powder (or 1/3 tsp of baking soda);
  • 1 tsp maple syrup (or agave).

Plant milk can also be useful during preparation.

Preparation of the compote bowl cake

  1. Mix all the ingredients listed above in a bowl until you obtain a smooth paste.
  2. If it seems too compact or dry, pour in a little vegetable milk without making the mixture liquid.
  3. Set your microwave to 700W and place the bowl inside. Cook for 3 minutes. Make sure the dough doesn't overflow.
  4. When your bowl cake is cooked, cover it with a plate before turning it over.
  5. Your breakfast is ready. You can serve it with fresh fruit or toppings of your choice.
